Is Bangbet Uganda licensed? Verify its 2026 NLGRB betting and casino licences, registered operator, official website, legal age, and player safeguards.
Yes. Bangbet Uganda appears in the National Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board’s official 2026 register of licensed operators. The register identifies Everwin Golden Silk Uganda Co. Limited, trading as Bangbet, and records separate licences for online general betting and online casino operations.
Bangbet Uganda Licence Details

| Licensed company | Everwin Golden Silk Uganda Co. Limited |
| Trading name | Bangbet |
| Registered website | www.bangbet.com |
| General betting licence | NLGRB-BM-26-0250 |

The betting licence covers the operator’s approved online general-betting activities, while the separate casino licence covers approved online casino operations. Permission to offer betting does not automatically authorise casino products, which is why the register lists the two licences separately.
The register page was last updated in May 2026, and Bangbet’s entry was rechecked on 03rd September 2026.
Licence status may change following expiry, renewal, suspension or regulatory action. Readers should therefore check the regulator’s current licensed-companies directory rather than relying on old advertisements, screenshots or copied licence information.
What Does the Licence Mean for Players?
The NLGRB is the public authority responsible for regulating lotteries, gaming, betting and casinos in Uganda. Bangbet’s licences identify the company the regulator has authorised to provide the listed services and define the approved online mode of operation.
Licensing also gives players an identifiable operator to contact about account or transaction problems and a regulator to approach when a complaint remains unresolved. However, a licence does not guarantee uninterrupted payments, a favourable complaint decision or gambling winnings. Sporting results remain uncertain, and casino games retain a mathematical advantage for the operator.

How to Verify Bangbet Uganda’s Licence
To check the status independently:
- Open the NLGRB licensed-companies directory.
- Select the 2026 register or the latest available register.
- Search for Bangbet or Everwin Golden Silk Uganda Co. Limited.
- Confirm the website, online operating mode, and both licence numbers against the table above.
Use information published on the official lgrb.go.ug domain. A licence number displayed on an advertisement or an unrelated website is not independent proof of current regulatory status.
How to Identify the Official Bangbet Platform
The regulator’s register lists www.bangbet.com as Bangbet’s website. The Bangbet Uganda platform is a Uganda-specific path within that registered domain.
Check the domain character for character before signing in or making a payment. Misspelled domains, unfamiliar extensions, unofficial download pages and applications obtained through unknown links should not be assumed to fall under Bangbet’s licences.
Never disclose an account password, Mobile Money PIN or one-time verification code. Treat unsolicited links cautiously even when they display Bangbet’s name, colours or logo.
What Is Uganda’s Legal Gambling Age?
Real-money betting, gaming, and casino participation in Uganda is restricted to people aged 25 years and above.
Section 1 of the Lotteries and Gaming Act 2016 (Act 7 of 2016) defines a minor as “a person below twenty-five years.” Section 57(1) prohibits a licensee from accepting payments from a minor, while Section 57(2) prohibits allowing a minor to access or enter casino, gaming or betting premises. Section 57(3) addresses violations committed personally, by mail, electronically, or through other means.
Regulation 5(1) of the Lotteries and Gaming Betting Regulations 2017 requires a person accessing betting premises or facilities to produce a National Identification Card, or a passport for a foreign national, before gaining access or being permitted to participate in betting.
Separately, Regulation 5(2)(c) prohibits a licensee from making a gambling or betting activity available to a minor. Regulation 5(2)(a) prohibits allowing a minor onto licensed premises, while Regulation 5(2)(b) prohibits permitting a minor to operate a gambling or betting machine or device.
Bangbet Uganda’s real-money services are therefore available only to eligible adults aged 25 or older.

How to Submit a Complaint
For an account, bet, deposit, or withdrawal problem, contact Bangbet first and follow the Bangbet Uganda Support and Complaints Guide.

If the matter remains unresolved after contacting Bangbet, submit it through the NLGRB complaint form and attach the earlier correspondence and supporting evidence.
Responsible Gambling on Bangbet Uganda
Legal access does not make excessive gambling harmless. Gambling involves financial risk and should be treated as entertainment, not income. Never gamble with money needed for food, rent, school fees, healthcare, transport or other essential expenses, and do not borrow or chase losses.
Bangbet’s Responsible Gambling Guide explains available player-protection measures. Players may also use the NLGRB self-exclusion service. If gambling becomes difficult to control, interferes with responsibilities, or is no longer enjoyable, stop and seek support.
Bangbet Uganda is officially listed for online general betting and online casino operations in the NLGRB’s 2026 register. Players should use only the registered domain, confirm the latest regulatory status before relying on a licence claim, and remember that licensing provides oversight, not a guarantee of winnings.
