Five Lessons From Matchday Six
First, Villa possess enough attacking variety to punish teams that defend poorly. Second, NEC’s clean sheets provide a reliable platform when their forwards require patience. Third, BUL remain contenders despite dropping their first points because their game in hand preserves control of their position.
Fourth, Vipers can quickly recover ground if Lavagne consistently selects an adventurous system. Their two Matchday Six appearances delivered contrasting lessons: caution brought a draw, while attacking ambition produced five goals. Finally, newcomers face an unforgiving competition. Kataka, Kigezi HomeBoyz and Ntugasaze occupy the bottom three places, making defensive improvement and home points increasingly important during the coming fixture programme.
Matchday Six Standout Players
Usama’s hat-trick led the individual performances. Ssebuufu’s brace powered Villa, while Taremwa’s early double delivered UPDF’s victory.
Mugalu, Oshaba, Achayi and Anyama also supplied decisive goals.

What It Means for Ugandan Supporters
