First Half: Che Adams Punishes Como’s Defensive Mistake
Both teams entered the match in impressive form, setting the stage for a fiercely contested opening half.
Torino capitalized on a costly defensive error when Kian Fitz-Jim dispossessed Jacobo Ramon inside Como’s penalty area. The Dutch midfielder delivered an inviting cross that Che Adams converted emphatically from eight yards.
However, Como refused to surrender control.
Anastasios Douvikas nearly equalized with a glancing effort that narrowly missed, while Ramon almost redeemed himself with a close-range header that Torino goalkeeper Lucas Perri comfortably saved.
Lucas Da Cunha also threatened before the interval, firing narrowly wide following a poor defensive clearance.
Despite Como’s attacking pressure, Torino went into the half-time break with a slender 1-0 lead.
Second Half: Robert Sanchez Keeps Como’s Comeback Hopes Alive
The second half began with Como pushing aggressively for an equalizer.
Maxence Caqueret came agonizingly close when his powerful effort struck the crossbar, leaving the visitors frustrated.
At the other end, goalkeeper Robert Sanchez delivered an outstanding performance, keeping Como within touching distance.
His most impressive intervention came when Giovanni Simeone headed a dangerous ball toward goal. Sanchez reacted brilliantly, tipping it off the crossbar.
