The latest UEFA Nations League international window produced outstanding performances from some of Europe’s biggest stars.
Michael Olise inspired France with goals, assists and match-winning cameos, while Harry Kane and Lamine Yamal continued to deliver for England and Spain. The following ranking is based on combined goals and assists from matches completed through October 5. Where players have the same number of goal contributions, goals scored are used as the first tiebreaker.

1. Michael Olise – France
Statistics: Four goals, two assists and six goal contributions
Michael Olise was the most productive attacking player of the international window.
The Bayern Munich forward recorded four goals and two assists in four Nations League appearances, despite starting only twice. He accumulated those six goal contributions in just 212 minutes—an average of one direct contribution every 35 minutes.
Olise scored a late winner against Belgium, produced an outstanding finish in France’s draw with Italy and then delivered two goals and an assist during the extraordinary 4-1 comeback victory over Belgium at the Stade de France.
His influence against Belgium was particularly impressive. Olise entered from the bench, assisted Rayan Cherki and then scored twice as France turned a 1-0 deficit into an emphatic victory.
UEFA officially credits Olise with four goals, two assists and an 86.75% passing accuracy.
2. Harry Kane – England
Statistics: Four goals, one assist and five goal contributions
Harry Kane remains one of international football’s most reliable goalscorers.
The England captain registered four goals and one assist across his first three matches of the Nations League campaign. He produced a two-goal performance as England overwhelmed Croatia 7-0 and also contributed in the matches against Spain and Czechia.
Kane recorded five direct goal contributions in only 223 minutes, giving him an average of one goal or assist every 45 minutes.
His Nations League statistics also include nine attempts and an impressive 89.34% passing accuracy. Those figures demonstrate that Kane is contributing to England’s buildup play as well as finishing chances inside the penalty area.
3. Leo Walta – Finland
Statistics: Four goals, one assist and five goal contributions
Leo Walta was one of the international window’s biggest surprise performers.
The Finland midfielder scored twice within six minutes during the 7-0 victory over San Marino. He then added another brace as Finland defeated ten-man Albania 2-1.
Four goals from midfield placed Walta level with Kane, Olise, Gyökeres, Parrott and Yamal at the top of UEFA’s scoring chart. He also contributed one assist, taking his overall tally to five goal involvements.
Walta’s form has been crucial for Finland, who scored nine goals during their opening matches and remained firmly involved in the promotion race.
4. Lamine Yamal – Spain
Statistics: Four goals, one assist and five goal contributions
Lamine Yamal continued to strengthen his reputation as one of the world’s most dangerous young attackers.
The Barcelona winger scored against England at Wembley, struck twice against Croatia and added another goal during Spain’s 3-1 victory over Czechia.
Yamal produced four goals and one assist in only 203 minutes. His four goals came from 12 attempts, meaning one-third of his shots resulted in goals.
UEFA’s official player page lists Yamal as the competition’s leading scorer aged 21 or younger. He averaged 1.34 goals per match across his first three appearances.
Spain’s match against Croatia on October 6 gives Yamal an opportunity to move clear in the top-scorer race.
5. Orri Óskarsson – Iceland
Statistics: Three goals, two assists and five goal contributions
Orri Óskarsson delivered one of the most complete centre-forward performances of the international window.
The Iceland striker contributed three goals and two assists across his opening three matches. That means he was directly involved in five of Iceland’s seven goals before their final October fixture.
Óskarsson scored twice during Iceland’s 3-0 victory over Bulgaria and also combined his goalscoring threat with intelligent link-up play.
His contribution helped Iceland move to the top of their League C group and strengthened the country’s push for immediate promotion.
6. Jude Bellingham – England
Statistics: One goal, four assists and five goal contributions
Jude Bellingham was the leading creator of the window.
The Real Madrid midfielder registered four assists in three appearances, placing him level with Ødegaard at the top of UEFA’s official assist chart.
Bellingham created Anthony Gordon’s goal against Spain and continued to influence England’s attacking play in victories over Czechia and Croatia. He also scored during the 7-0 demolition of Croatia.
Beyond his five direct goal contributions, Bellingham completed 91.34% of his passes. He achieved those numbers while playing only 200 minutes, averaging one goal contribution every 40 minutes.
7. Viktor Gyökeres – Sweden
Statistics: Four goals and four goal contributions
Viktor Gyökeres scored in every match Sweden played during the international window.
The Arsenal striker found the net in victories over Romania and Poland, the 1-1 draw with Bosnia and Herzegovina and Sweden’s 1-0 away victory over Romania.
His winning goal in Bucharest extended his remarkable run to seven consecutive Nations League matches with a goal—a competition record.
Gyökeres finished the window with four goals from 11 attempts. He also reached 25 senior international goals and helped Sweden move onto 10 points at the top of Group B4.
His international form also sends a strong message to Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta following his limited Premier League minutes behind Kai Havertz.
8. Troy Parrott – Republic of Ireland
Statistics: Four goals and four goal contributions
Troy Parrott emerged as the Republic of Ireland’s most important attacking player.
The Real Betis striker scored four goals across Ireland’s four Nations League matches, including the equaliser in the 1-1 draw with Israel on Matchday 4.
Parrott recorded his four goals from only nine attempts, giving him one of the strongest conversion rates among the competition’s leading scorers.
UEFA credits the 24-year-old with four goals in four appearances. His performances kept Ireland competitive in a difficult group and placed him alongside some of Europe’s most established forwards at the top of the scoring chart.
9. João Félix – Portugal
Statistics: Three goals, one assist and four goal contributions
João Félix enjoyed a productive window as Portugal established themselves at the top of their Nations League group.
The forward scored three times and contributed one assist. His goals included the winner against Norway and another important finish as Portugal continued their unbeaten start.
Félix’s intelligent movement allowed him to operate around Gonçalo Ramos and Cristiano Ronaldo, while his ability to find space between midfield and defence made him difficult to track.
With four direct goal contributions, Félix demonstrated that he remains an important part of Portugal’s attacking plans.
10. Anthony Gordon – England
Statistics: Three goals, one assist and four goal contributions
Anthony Gordon scored three times in England’s opening three matches, finding the net against Spain, Czechia and Croatia.
The Barcelona winger also provided an assist, taking his overall total to four direct goal contributions.
Gordon’s speed and direct running gave England an effective outlet on the left wing. He attempted 10 shots, recorded seven efforts on target and completed 89.67% of his passes.
UEFA also credits Gordon with one assist, confirming his growing contribution beyond goals.
Special Mention: Martin Ødegaard Leads the Creative Stars
Martin Ødegaard narrowly misses this ranking under the goals-scored tiebreaker, but his creative statistics deserve recognition.
The Norway captain registered four assists in four matches, placing him level with Bellingham at the top of the UEFA Nations League assist standings.
Ødegaard completed 90% of his passes, created 11 chances and played every minute of Norway’s four matches. However, he did not score, leaving him behind players with the same number of combined contributions but more goals.
