Paris Saint-Germain have reached a verbal agreement with Barcelona to sign Ferran Torres for a reported €50 million.
The Spain international has already agreed personal terms with PSG and is expected to travel to Paris for his medical. Torres reportedly missed Barcelona training as the two clubs began exchanging the documents required to complete the transfer.
The deal has not yet been officially announced by either club. It therefore remains subject to a successful medical, signed paperwork and final confirmation.
ESPN reports that Barcelona and PSG have an agreement in principle worth approximately €50m. El País also reports that PSG coach Luis Enrique played an important role in the negotiations.
Why PSG Want Ferran Torres
Torres gives PSG a versatile forward capable of playing on either wing or through the centre.
