Manchester City produced a ruthless EFL Cup performance to thrash Norwich City 5-0, with Floyd Samba scoring twice as the hosts comfortably booked their place in the next round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

McAidoo Adds the Finishing Touch<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Manchester City continued to control proceedings as both teams turned to their benches during the closing stages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was still time for one final goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the 90th minute, substitute Ryan McAidoo completed the 5-0 rout after being set up by Nico O’Reilly. Having replaced Cherki at the start of the second half, McAidoo ensured City’s impressive cup performance ended with another goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
