Crystal Palace booked their place in the EFL Cup last 16 with a convincing 3-0 victory over Middlesbrough, inspired by a superb two-goal display from Jørgen Strand Larsen.
The Palace forward struck either side of half-time before turning provider for Daichi Kamada, whose second-half goal completed an emphatic cup victory.

One of those changes produced Palace’s third goal.
Daichi Kamada entered the action in the 59th minute and needed just 13 minutes to make his impact. This time Larsen turned creator, setting up Kamada to score in the 72nd minute and put the result beyond doubt.
Larsen departed moments later, having played a direct role in all three Crystal Palace goals, finishing with two goals and an assist.
Middlesbrough were unable to find even a consolation, as Palace professionally saw out the closing stages to secure a clean sheet and progression to the next round.
